Monopolistic
Monopolistic

Describe your work and why you think it could inspire people to act on this issue.

Using a recognizable image that most can relate to, I can deliver the message much easier. The idea is simple, but bold. Keep Money Out Of Politics.

What do you think is the biggest issue of money in politics today?

Money + Politics = less power to the people

Nice use of copyright infringement here. I like the sans-serif typeface too

Really???? Is this even ok? This image is not original at all. There were so many other entries where the artists spent so much time and thought into creating something original. Very disappointing.

Wow.................... Slap in the face for the original art in this competition.

Fake Community Chest cards have been around for a long time on the internet. It's like if the Fry from Futurama "Not sure if..." meme had won.

I'd even prefer the "FREE DUMB" entry had won; at least then we'd be sure the judges were just trolling us.

Indeed, it's nice to know UnPac will be using the same board game to promote itself as McDonalds uses to sell more french fries and coke.

Bad Jury, Bad! There were many much better works!

WoW... Penmanship and originality were not a requirement in this "contest"? That was a rhetorical question BTW. I'm confused and would enjoy reading why this actually won?

Yeah: he lowered the eyebrows and added some stars. So many more entries actually put hard work into their designs (and got a better result). Here's the original he's ripping off: http://i.imgur.com/jEeru.jpg

Exactly. Though since Shepard Fairey was a judge, maybe it was a requirement?

Congrats, nice design. Watch out for the lawsuit from Hasbro though. I do like the simplicity of this.

It is a nice design - I wondered too about the legality of using such a well-known image in a national campaign. I think this is the public vote winner, yes? And not the actual campaign winner that will be used everywhere? I thought the judges vote winner was going to be announced later this week or next Monday?

I just saw that this is the judges pic! Congrats!

I agree the simplicity really does catch the eye. However, it is using someone else's art.

I love the simplicity and the clean nature of the design. I do worry that it may be too comical to inspire people to take the campaign seriously. That is of course only my opinion.
